    Help with Artwork

Why does the brand artwork (“logo”) look pixelated or blurred when I enlarge it?

Each piece of GIF artwork is created for display at a specific size on-screen. Enlarging the artwork will cause edges to appear jagged or blurred. To avoid this, please download an approved GIF at the size you need.

Please note that our approved GIF artwork is intended only for Web site use. GIF artwork that displays correctly on-screen may print poorly on your office printer. For improved print quality, download approved PNG artwork for presentations and office printing or approved EPS artwork for commercially printed materials.

What’s the difference between a Brand Mark and an Acceptance Mark?

Our Brand Marks represent the unique essence of our brand—everything it is and does, its image in the minds of the consumers and merchants who use it, its personality and promise. The Brand Marks are used in printed communications, on-screen communications, and in advertising. They are never used to communicate acceptance, unless color or size limitations require the use of grayscale, solid, or outline versions.

The Acceptance Mark is a combined mark which includes the Brand Mark placed on the MasterCard Dark Blue Acceptance Rectangle in order to provide a consistent, neutral background for acceptance situations.
