Why can’t I open the artwork file I just downloaded?

First, decompress the ZIP or SIT archive you downloaded using the proper utility. If you don’t have the decompression software on your computer, you can download free software for expanding ZIP and SIT archives. WinZip software (for expanding ZIP archives on computers using Windows operating systems) is available at www.winzip.com. StuffIt software (for expanding ZIP and SIT archives on Windows and Macintosh operating systems) is available at www.stuffit.com.

Next, be sure you downloaded the correct artwork format for your project. For your convenience, authorized brand artwork is provided in three ready-to-use file formats: GIF, PNG, and EPS. GIF files are intended for Web site use, and may be implemented using any software that enables you to build Web pages. PNG files are intended for office use, and may be placed into office software applications for on-screen display and office printing. EPS files are intended for commercial printing and may be placed into print layouts using software applications for design, layout, and illustration.

Always use authorized brand artwork. The elements of all MasterCard brand artwork have been created in a specific size and relationship that may not be edited, altered, or recreated.
